Description
When the sampler is running, the pump’s vanes are slowly worn down, and may also become chipped or scored, particularly if large dust particles are drawn into the pump if it is run without a filter paper fitted.
To minimise loss of performance, the pump should be cleaned out and Vanes inspected after every 2000 hours running.
