What is Slip risk assessment

Product Slip Testing
In house slip testing is used regularly by our clients to certify new products, determine suitability for a given environment or compare properties of potential flooring choices. The test is performed in three directions, in dry and water wet conditions, using slider. slip risk classification according to HSE guidelines and UKAS calibration certificates for all test equipment. Where possible samples should be of 300x300mm to allow directional tests to be completed on adjacent areas. This is in line with UKSRG recommendations.

Pendulum slip testing is widely recognised as the only on site slip testing method suitable for legal proceedings. The test can prove that a floor is safe or slippery, which may protect you in court.
